Join us for Kwanzaa: A Community Celebration—an engaging evening filled with joy, culture, and connection for all ages. This interactive program offers a hands-on exploration of the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa (Nguzo Saba) through fun activities, storytelling, music, and creative expression. Guests will engage with each principle in meaningful and age-appropriate ways, including: Umoja (Unity), Kujichagulia (Self-Determination), Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility), Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics), Nia (Purpose), Kuumba (Creativity), and Imani (Faith). Come experience the spirit of unity, heritage, and purpose in a welcoming space designed to uplift, educate, and inspire.
Volunteers will direct visitors throughout the museum and assist with activities at the various stations.
