Speaking Truth is an exclusive members-only preview of our newest exhibition, Speaking Truth, on Monday, October 27, at from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in our Center for Family History. Donated by Speaking Truth, an Arizona-based reconciliation project, the stories shared focus on an often-untold aspect of family histories in hopes of bringing awareness and steps toward healing.
The program will include remarks by IAAM's President and CEO Dr. Tonya M. Matthews and feature a fireside chat led by IAAM’s Center for Family History Director Brian Sheffey with: Lottie Lieb Dula, Keynote Speaker Rea Bennett & Dr. Michael Zirulnik, Co-Founders of Speaking Truth.
The evening will begin with check-in, food, and mingling at 5:00 PM, followed by the program at 5:30PM. Following the conversation, guests will enjoy an exclusive first look at the Speaking Truth exhibit.
