Unity in the Community Fair
Join Mother Emanuel AME Church at the International African American Museum (IAAM) for the UNITY in the Community Fair (UCF), an afternoon of remembrance, renewal, and joyful community celebration in honor of the 10-year commemoration of the Emanuel Nine. Starting at noon, the West Yard of the African Ancestors Memorial Garden will come alive with music, performances, artistic storytelling, and interactive community activations, creating a space for healing, reflection, and togetherness.
Through song, storytelling, and shared traditions, Mother Emanuel AME Church invites you to gather in faith, unity, and remembrance—honoring the past while building a stronger future together.
