The Association of African American Museums (AAAM) is a non-profit member organization established to support African and African American focused museums nationally and internationally, as well as the professionals who protect, preserve and interpret African and African American art, history and culture.
This year AAAM invites museum professionals, scholars, students, community leaders, and supporters of African American history and culture to Charleston for an extraordinary gathering, themed "Voices of Democracy: Commemorating the Voting Rights Act’s 60th Anniversary."
This opportunity will assist with checking in guests, wayfinding for the reception, along with setup and breakdown.
